Possible profile of ESC swimmers:

competition_profiles

what is your profile?

It is important to identify the profile of your child (with him) and discuss it with the teacher / coach to ensure your child knows their goals and is given good opportunities to reach them. A competition can help gaining confidence in a particular aspect of an event (start, transition in the stroke, stroke, turns), or is targeted as the main event of the year. Approach to competition needs to be considered to build up confidence, and secure enjoyment throughout the years.

Do not hesitate to keep in touch with the gala secretary of the club who will ensure you are well informed of the competitions your child would be interested in. They are also advertised, and entry forms available, from the gala notice board at the Sovereign on Monday evenings, and from this website.

Example of time frame for profile-3 and -4 swimmers.
