Uni pool closure - LATEST CHANGE

To ESC swimmers & parents of the training squads, the University of Brighton swimming pool will remain closed this September. We have had to change the schedule of the development group, please, check the new version of this document:

THE EASTBOURNE TEAM

It was the 1st League gala for the following swimmers who all swum really well: Thivya, Ashley, Chloe, Jessica, Brad, and Lauren B.

STATISTICS:

A PARTICULAR CONGRATULATION TO:

  • Matt Tyler –improved all times;
  • Chris Shoesmith –bettered his 100m breaststroke a third time this month;
  • Chloe & Adrian –lots of first places in their age group;
  • Gabriel – 8 seconds off his Personal Best for his 100m backstroke


RESULTS

ESC was placed Second for most of the night, slipped to third and came back in the last 8 (ish) events. The Squadron Relay (8 swimmers, 2 per age group) swum really well leading for several lengths before the older 1066 swimmerspassed us in the last two lengths.

1st : 1066 Swimmers : 376 pts

2nd : Eastbourne : 321 pts

3rd : Chichester Commorants : 301 pts
