Eastbourne swimming club offers a wide ranging programme of swimming for our members. For further information about a specific area of swimming please use the buttons at the bottom of the page.

A brief over view of what we offer:

Swimming

  • Learn to Swim (beginners lessons)
  • Improvers (development of swimming technique and learning how to train)
  • Bronze Squad (Competitive entry level squad working toward Country events)
  • Silver Squad ( Swimmers at County level heading for regional entry)
  • Gold Squad (Regional level swimmers heading for National events)

ESC Squad Movement Criteria

Masters Swimming

  • Open to anyone aged 19 years old through to 90 plus.
  • All standards. Swim for health, stroke improvement, or compete at any level.
  • We organise open water competitions in the summer.

Open Water Swimming Swimming

We offer distance swimming on Monday and Friday evenings as part of the Masters swimming pool session for full members of Eastbourne Swimming Club at the Sovereign Centre.

ESC Beginners & Improvers Swimming Pathway

Eastbourne Swimming Club is committed to delivering a defined swimming pathway through the club using the ASA swimming framework. Swimmers are assessed inline with ASA guidelines. To move groups swimmers should be easily able to complete the relevant stage and / or time requirements.
